Hope Mondays on Tuesday !!

to my readers I apologies for not posting yesterday but one computer to a large family comes with sacrifices.
Oh well, we can still be encouraged in the word any day of the week.  I have really been learning a lot about Hope from the word and papers written by precious believers in the faith, I do hope you have been enjoying this journey as much as I have. Today I would like to talk about the hope that can be found in psalms, all through this book you can see threads of hope, hope in God. As we have already discussed earnest expectation in God is the only real source from which we can draw hope. Hope is so vitally important its what keeps us going that extra mile, that extra strength we call upon for the moment when we are almost beat and defeated, David felt like that many times, he must have understood how important hope is He referred to it 22 times and every time speaks how his hope is in God, I love the following verse,
I can picture King David asking himself this and encouraging him self.
Psalm. 42:5-11

⁵ Why am I discouraged?
      Why is my heart so sad?
   I will put my hope in God!
      I will praise him again—
      my Savior and ⁶ my God!

   Now I am deeply discouraged,
      but I will remember you—
   even from distant Mount Hermon, the source of the Jordan,
      from the land of Mount Mizar.
 ⁷ I hear the tumult of the raging seas
      as your waves and surging tides sweep over me.
 ⁸ But each day the Lord pours his unfailing love upon me,
      and through each night I sing his songs,
      praying to God who gives me life.

 ⁹ “O God my rock,” I cry,
      “Why have you forgotten me?
   Why must I wander around in grief,
      oppressed by my enemies?”
 ¹⁰ Their taunts break my bones.
      They scoff, “Where is this God of yours?”

 ¹¹ Why am I discouraged?
      Why is my heart so sad?
   I will put my hope in God!
      I will praise him again—
      my Savior and my God!

David must have had a lot of enemies and things that pressed him, but he hoped in God's word and His Love. How many times do we feel this way, sad, depressed, discouraged and maybe even forgotten by God. we should always remember to hope in god and in his Love. He is our rock and even if we feel he is not there we know he never leaves us or forsakes us. How wonderful to know He is there
