Of A Lazy Wednesday Afternoon

Life seem to be constantly going, wither its housekeeping, meal making or any other unexpected chore that seems to be coming out of the woodwork lately. There are some times that are relatively peaceful, and might even be called "lazy" These are very rare mind you, but none the less today this afternoon has been just that for me. Out my window there is a million tiny flakes that are bent in delaying my dreams for spring, covering the ground in a white blanket, I'm having all sorts of wintery inclinations just because of the picture that is slowly building outside. I'm sipping a steaming cup of coffee as I write and all day have been having urges to shamelessly tromp through the snow with the ardor of a child. Ah its a sweet thought
but the days demands are building and I can feel my lazy afternoon coming to a rapid close. But still I linger just a but more day dreaming all sorts of things that would be wonderful to do whilst in the snow.
Of certain battles that would be most exciting to be apart of knights and horses all battling in the snow covered hills of times past winter fashions from the ancient days and the old countries. I would love to write all sorts of things about the winter fairies that used to play in my imagination when I was a child, their adventures ignited me to see winter differently as a child, always looking for the tiny creatures that made the snowflakes. I have been most fondly dreaming of a book, I haven't cracked the pages of a book in how long ? I cant say. I know this can't particularly be done outdoors in the falling snow but I know that to sit be a window and enjoy both would be wondrous.
What are you doing with your afternoon ? I do hope its something you love.

Another Tag

I was  tagged by miss Gabrielle from the ink stained parchment
I have already posted 11 random things about my self and, I have to say that they were very hard to come up with, I write about others not my self I find it strange and uncomfortable. so I will not be posting a new set of random things  but if your interested you can read them Here

Here are Miss Gabrielle's questions:
>Who is your favorite author ?
well thats a hard one for me, in truth I don't feel qualified to have one specific author who I have a particular attachment to, I feel I haven't read enough, and maybe haven't found the one just yet, and there are too many that I love and cant agree on with myself. But I shall be brave and choose one
Miss Louisa May Alcott would have to be my favorite classic writer, I have always dearly loved her stories, and I have read enough of them to really love her style of writing, perhaps this will change in the future, who knows.

>Do you have a favorite country you dream of visiting ?
oh yes, I have wanted someone to ask me that question, but here I am oddly stumped, I have dreamt of tramping my footprints in so many places that its had for me to choose, Australia, Italy and Greece where I hail from, England, well the whole united kingdom really, and maybe all of europe. I have a bad case of wanderlust.

>Who is your favorite actor ?
I cant say I have a favorite actor, I admire lots of different actors for there talents, but if I have to name names I would say right now, I am obsessed with the  BBC Doctor who, and the courant actors are amazing Matt Smith, Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill.

> Do you have a favorite genre of music ?
classical does it for me all day, I feed off of the beauty of the orchestra.

> What is your favorite quote ?
This question has come up a lot, and I keep finding really great inspiring quotes,
this one spoke to me.

> Do you have a favorite subject in school ?
yes it would have to be history, I love learning about our past and for it usually tells us where not to go, and inspires us with stories of people with courage and gives us hope of what we might accomplish.

> What is your favorite type of genre ?
Well I have a few, which I'm sure isn't surprising :)  I love drama and historical fiction, and fantasy with that comes science fiction, and in these romance. Its really in these that I would like to focus my writing.

> Do you prefer BBC or american made shows ?
Well knowing my Doctor Who Obsession, my first initial answer would me BBC, but It really depends on the show it doesn't matter where it comes from, altho I do love a foreign accent. (smile)

> Do you like ice cream, and if so what kind.
Personally I don't know of one self respecting person who doesn't love ice cream, if you don't I don't hold anything against you, Yes i love ice cream and My favorite flavor would be black cherry.

> What is your favorite movie ?
of all time ? I think you know where I'm going here, I can't choose one thats not fair to all the others
and I really can't think of one. Weird.

> Who is your favorite fictional character ?
These questions are so deliciously hard to answer, and now I'm thinking about cherry ice cream, (thinking hard) I really cant say I have one I have thought long and hard about this one and no one seems to come to mind, I shall have to forfeit this question if thats Ok. and I shall make a priority of finding one.

I shall no be tagging anyone else, if you like these questions then feel free to take and answer them for yourself.
Thank you miss Gabrielle for the tag, I had fun thinking up questions.
Wishing you all a wonderful day

One Year Blog Birthday !!!

Life can get away from us sometimes (By us I mean me) things, ideas, thoughts, all seem to run when life comes-a-calling, my ever moving mind seems to not like having things to remember, things all cramped into my head and tucked away for some day of the less busy verity. I seem to have gotten away from the blog world for a few days, and what I have missed ! I always feel I'm missing something when I don't read all your lovely posts every day you all inspire me so.
It was this month one year ago that I started this little blog, I was so nervous to start writing being a bit shy, I worried about the first words I would write, I worried if anyone would even care to read my thoughts, how wrong I was for you have graciously let me know otherwise.
I was pleasantly surprised by all your kindness dear friends, and I have been inspired and have learned so much from all of you, I truly have enjoyed hearing your thoughts ones that often made me think in a deeper way. This blogging experience has been quite exciting and I look forward to visiting your little worlds every day its like reading sweet letters from a friend, I want you all to know that you have blessed my life in ways I cant begin to describe. I wish I could thank you all personally so I say Thank you.
I started this blog to express my thoughts and have a creative outlet, oftentimes I have been at a loss for words and yours have inspired me to dig a little deeper and let the words flow, I have found kindred hearts that seem to speak to me in ways that are inspiringly open. So I am looking forward to another year of inspiration and I have a hidden flickering dream that perhaps I too may inspire someone else because of you and so on.
So dear friends celebrate with me, I have made it through one year when I never saw past one month, and every day I am learning to speak from the heart and hope to continue to learn from you, if that is alright.
much love you you all.

Musings of Love And other Valentines Thoughts

Its easy to get caught up in the swift currant of romance, to daydream of love, for me I dream up all sorts of romance stories which I hope to pen someday.
Many posts this week have been about love, I have often wondered what the true definition of love can be, different thoughts float through my mind as I wonder how to define a love that is multifaceted, multicolored and deeply set, is all love the same ? I should hope not, I would think it to be different for each heart and situation. What do you think ?
In defining love the dictionary is very unhelpful yes at a time like this it fails me, it describes something outward a fleeting fleeting something carnal, affected by tempest and gale. but isn't love more than that ?
I have to admit I quite like the idea of a day dedicated to love in any form sweet and unfailing deep and solid, and then I become a bit cynical shouldn't we always remember love every day isn't that the most important in every place in life, why do we need one day to remind us of this, imagine with me a world that every day we tell those dear to us how much they mean to us, with small smiles and hugs sweet words and  given every day, wouldn't the gifts of a listening ear and an open heart which wither not be more appreciated than the flower which fades ? I seem to be torn on this thought I do hope that even though we have a day dedicated to love, we don't save all that love for just one day but find some way to share that love every moment we breath.
I have also heard allot about how lonely valentines day can be, I seem to be confused here because we have the greatest lover, He who loves our souls. He gave his life to show us that love and wrote us the most beautiful valentine across the world, across time and history, with each burning star and this earth bursting with pure life He wrote that valentine and signed it with His blood, to the world with all the Love of the heavens from love its self your valentine Love. Today if your lonely remember this let Him wrap you in Love like no other a love that truly can't be defined, nay shouldn't be defined.
Thank you for letting me think out loud, I would love to hear your thoughts.

I hope you all have a happy love day.

Exciting Blog Events !!!

I'm sitting here and my mind is drawing a blank, staring at the computer screen working my brain to remember the things I thought of posting here, why is it all the great ideas are easily forgotten ? Does anyone else have this problem ? and if you do, what do you do to remember the things you come up with in the middle of the night when your too tired or half asleep to turn on a light and write yourself a note, sometimes I think I forget to remember or maybe all those stories are filling my brain and leaving scant room for other things, who knows but dear memory please do try a bit harder wont you ? for me for you for some semblance of sanity in the free moments that I'm not trying to remember something that seems erased from my memory. Enough of that, sorry about the slight rant next time I'll keep the words between my brain and I to myself,  moving on,

I hope you all do join in or give these lovely blogs a look, there some of my favorite visiting places.
I'm off to write a short story, lets hope I can think of something.
have a wonderful mid week.

Hope Mondays

Hope, its that small nudging that says don't give up, its the paintbrush that colors your dreams daily and renews your faith yet again to keep trying to reach that yet unattained goal. It says there is nothing impossible there is no dream too small, too big, too old or too ridicules that can't be breathed to life, don't give up on your dreams, your goals see yourself accomplishing that task set your hope to work for you. If you dream impossible dreams ones that seem impossible to ever come to pass then good for you, when you close your eyes at night and you see your self accomplishing that dream then you have hope for that thing, keep seeing it in every way you can, that dream is closer to taking form than you might imagine.
 Keep hoping !

Time, Moments and February Dreams

Where has january gone I ask my self, it seems the hands on the clock wind down so quickly these days.
I must take this time to say adieu to January, you came and went I barely noticed you at all.
These days I seem to notice time go, like sand in my hands I cant really get a firm grasp on it it just keeps moving despite all my cries of protest, isn't it strange that as children time seemed to crawl with an excruciatingly sluggish pace, and now you turn around twice and a year has passed.
I am ever reminded to keep every day with persistence, by that I mean to keep my days as productive as they can, and I must admit I get quite frustrated when often they are not as I would like them to be.
With time flowing, and unless we invent some object to stop it, which isn't going to happen any time soon
I try to remind my self that every day every moment is a gift to be kept with respect, how I spend my time wont slow it down but it will maximize the few short hours we get each day. This has been something coming up allot in this infant year and I am determined to get it right and use every moment of spare time for something useful.
But I have to say there are those moments that time seems to stand still, when lying in a field with the sun over head feeling life grow and breath in those moments time doesn't matter, I've been dreaming of those moments or at least grass covered hills.
So welcome February stay a while please.
How do you keep time and spend it wisely ? I would love to know.
